[mythtv-users] ProcessPAT Rescan your transports

I have received the following or similar message for quite some time now 
ever since I turned on EIT scanning, but I just noticed the extra message:
"Program not found in PAT. Rescan your transports."
Can someone tell me if I need to do this and how..?

I can see how to scan channels but not Transports...

BTW what is a PAT?
