Well I've been going nuts today trying to get this working :-(

Boot the machine and I get a text display working fine. As soon as I
start X, I can see that there is something, but it's outside the sync
range of the TV and so is all screwed up.

The log says :

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

The bits that bother me are :
>(II) intel(0): Output VGA using initial mode 1280x768
>(II) intel(0): Output VGA-2 using initial mode 1280x768
It insists on using 1280x768 and I don't seem to be able to get it to
do anything else.

This is my xorg.conf :

Have I made a basic mistake in the config ?

Google tells me that a few others have had the same or similar
problems, but no solutions ! Could this bug report be relevant :
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17698

I've just tried booting MythBuntu - but it too comes up with just
'noise' across the screen.

Anyone any ideas ?
