    Why bother? Are you planning on continuing to watch TV during a power
failure? If not, then just have the same power setup as you do for your TV
or stereo.

    If you are worried about a diskless setup leading to a corruption of
a backend file server then don't bother with the diskless setup. Ext2/3 
have served me well in the past in "unreliable" conditions. Your FE should
be able to easily tolerate frequent power outtages.

    Either way, I would not expect power outtages of diskless clients to
corrupt the backend. Have a good disaster recovery plan if you're worried.
