Hi All,
I have a backend with multiple frontends all running 22924 or later (be
& fe's). The backend has two hdhr's, a pchdtv 5500 and an SD hauppauge
150. Watching live tv on any frontend profiles results in consistently
getting "Error: Video frame buffering failed too many times." at the top
of the hour (ie; 1:00, 3:00, etc).
Frontends have either NVIDIA 9500GT w/ 1gb or NVIDIA 9400 w/ 1gb.
Frontends use NVIDIA 195.22 but this also happens with 190 drivers as well.
This problem has persisted since upgrading to .22. Did not observe this
behavior in .21 but did not watch much live tv in .21.
Based on observations I believe that this has something to do with the
change-over from one live tv recording file to another at the top of the
hour / change of program. I see reference in the frontend log to the
new file that should be created however I never see it in the filesystem.

I've searched the tickets and found #6583
<http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/6583> (reported as closed) which
sounds identical to the problem I am having and have opened #7697
<http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/7697>...
Anyone else having this issue? Any thoughts to a resolution or workaround?
Thanks!
John
