[mythtv-users] Oddly VDPAU makes things WORSE

I'd guess it's the SyncToVBlank, XVideoTextureSyncToVBlank, 
XVideoBlitterSyncToVBlank, and/or XVideoSyncToDisplay settings in 
nvidia-settings and/or Composite settings in X configuration.
