So what I tried was removing both sources and re-adding the HDHR first
so there wouldn't be any channels 'in the way'. I still got quite a
few notices that channels were in conflict. I don't understand this
since there was a blank slate to be adding these newly scanned
channels to. I think I need someone to spell out how the frequency
ranges work and why the HDHR can scan for channels, discern that they
are different frquencies, and then pop up saying they are in conflict.
I'll accept links to reference material - I'm not afraid to read.

I was able to view some of these channels in Watch Tv. It sure helps
to use a laptop and be in the same room as the backend server so you
can tail the logs.

I then added the HDPVR back and it seemed to work out better since I
didn't have to run the channel scanner to determine channels.

However now my diskless frontend is completely unstable. It locked up
immediately after starting Watch Tv this morning. I rebooted and tried
5 times before giving up.

I need to figure out why I don't have any logs. I'm also confused on
how I'm supposed to make changes to the diskless frontend. It seems
like working on the xserver is tricky since I can't install the same
Nvidia driver on the masterbackend as the diskless image.

My partner is loosing patience with a lack of reliable Tv in the house.
