Have mythtv installed at work, which is both ISP and CableTV provider.
Currently have PVR-500 dual tuner doing the work.

Have mythtv installed at home, outside employers cabled territory and
only recently did CATV even become available (but, I'd have to PAY for
content).

record shows at work.
during lunch, run nuvexport-nuvsql to export shows, descriptions, and
mysql info to USB device.

at home, copy mpg files to /myth/recordings
merge sql files into mythconverg

watch content.

Been doing for 2+ years.

Have nuvimport script at home, could provide or post for you if this
meets needs.
