Hi Matt,

Bit of a partial answer as I'm still learning about all this myself.

I can say however that on my setup the TV and the mythbox are definitely
communicating at 1080p (1920x1080), and AFAIK myth upscales the SD content
(as I am unaware of any resolution changes).
