[mythtv-users] TVOverScan after software update?

TVOverScan quit working after I updated the system today. It was not a
major update, just the standard update to keep the system up to date.
Previous to the update, I put a line in /etc/gdm/Init/Default just before
the "exit 0" of "nvidia-settings -a TVOverScan[TV-0]=12" to adjust the size
of my SVideo picture. Now that line has no effect and the picture is too
small.
I don' t use nvidia-settings per say to install my driver, I use envyng
because of a conflict between the way that installs the drivers and my
air2pc cards. Using the normal way of starting the drivers makes the
computer fail to boot. Using evnyng and installing that way works fine. I
say this because I don't use the nvidia-settings program to save settings.

When I first started using mythtv, I put a TVOverScan line in xorg.conf like
the documentation states. That quit working and I went to the method above
and that worked until today. The nvidia documentation still has the old
TVOverScan option for xorg.conf which hasn't worked in a long time so it is
useless.

When I run nvidia-settings manually, I can adjust the TVOverscan slider and
a setting of 12 gives me just what I want so I know the HW can do it. I
just don't know how to put this setting in after the driver change.

Anyone know what changed and how to use it now?

Allen
