Sorry, yes a Device ID of 10xxxxx is the rev1 HDHomeruns. Nothing is
"wrong" with them, they just have a slightly older HD tuner (but it's
still a good tuner). I've been quite happy with mine other than the
"overpowered channel" issue I mentioned before. The rev2 chipsets are
supposed to be slightly better at that, so I took advantage of the
newegg discount to buy one. (I hope they are shipping rev2 units
now...if not I'll have to return it or sell it.)
If a rev1 unit works for you, nothing to worry about.
