In /dev there are four symlinks: @cdrom @cdrw @dvd @dvdrw all pointing to +sr0
(I suppose this is OK since I only have the one drive...)

I have managed to burn a (data) DVD-RW ISO-image (my Linux distro) in K3b.
Btw. I can play DVDs in MythTV but not rip them, but that's another story ;-)
