...if one of those is on the table then things become pretty easy.
Grab an mATX motherboard with an nv8x00 or nv9x00 integrated and
add the cheapest extra bits you can find ending finally with a
750GB - 1.5TB hard drive. If the compartments in my stereo cabinet
didn't have back, I would already have a Fusion based system.
PC upgradability can come in really handy sometimes.
OTOH, my current frontends will be perfectly reusable once they
are taken out of service. Once I restore them to their original
condition, there will be plenty of people willing to take them
off my hands for me (and even pay me too).
