Hi Jean-Yves,

I have downloaded your configuration and put it in place but it does
not appear to work...

I have programmed my remote as per your instruction. My remote has all
the buttons on it configured. When I fire up irw, it does not pick up
any of the buttons. irw does however continue to pick up some of my
original remote buttons.

I have tried shutting down lirc and firing up irrecord -d /dev/lirc0
/tmp/file but it also does not seem to detect the remote. Any
suggestions on how to debug this further?
