Yeah.  That's the way it works.  Myth /always/ tries to use the best 
capture card for recordings.  It figures, if you thought the LiveTV 
program was better than the scheduled recording, you would have 
scheduled a recording for whatever you're watching on LiveTV.  So, 
you're expected to either a) use the worst capture card for LiveTV or b) 
exit LiveTV when the recording starts, then re-enter (to get the other 
capture card) or c) don't use LiveTV and instead schedule recordings of 
any show you might ever decide to watch.

By far, c) is the /best/ solution.
