It's pretty marginal.  It's a cool trick to show off but to be really 
useful it needs a better way to flip the two windows.  Then you could 
have, say, a show in one and a news channel in the other, and watch the 
news channel during commercials in the show.  The way it does it now -- 
changing channels on both cards -- is slow and breaks up the recording 
files, and quite often causes Myth to exit to the menu because of the 
player's tendency to error out during channel changes.
