This could happen if you had installed a previous version of mythtv with
vdpau support and reverted to a mythtv without; this created the profile in
the database and you can see it there in the existing profile.


Alternatively, check that libvdpau is found and installed properly:
something like:
ldd /usr/bin/mythfrontend  | grep vdpau
    libvdpau.so.1 => /usr/lib/libvdpau.so.1 (0xb5be9000)

And check that /usr/lib/libvdpau.so.1 exist in that location
