I still have to wonder what benefit that specific configuration 
provides...  I can see how a tunerless master backend could be useful 
for power saving/running in a VM on an always-on machine, but for a 
remote backend, it becomes a mythjobqueue server--the only difference 
being that by running mythbackend instead of mythjobqueue, you're a) 
running an unsupported configuration that may fail at any time (even 
without any version updates or whatever) and b) you're wasting a lot of 
memory that would be /far/ more useful for the actual 
transcoding/commflagging jobs it's running...

At least until the tunerless backend is supported, why not do it the 
right way and run mythjobqueue?
