[mythtv-users] Guide selects worst tuner, remote selects best tuner---please help

Hello. This is the strangest issue I've had to confront with
my mythbox over the past year/year and a half of using myth.

I recently got an ATI HDTV Wonder card. It took over /dev/video1 and moved
my second pvr-500 tuner to /dev/video2, and that gave myth all kinds of
problems, so I removed all the tuners from the myth setup and just re-added
them like it was a new install.

Each tuner (I have 3 now) has a different priority attached to it:
Analog pvr-500 cable input: 0
S-video pvr-500 cable box input: 2
HDTV tuner: 4

Also, I set them up in that same order so that the HDTV would be the main
tuner when you go to live tv. That is the case.

When I change from an hdtv channel to a non hdtv channel, myth switches over
to the s-video input on the pvr-500 just fine. But, when I am watching hdtv
and go to the guide and change the channel there, it changes it to the
analog cable input...which of course has the worst picture which is why it
should be last on my list.

Why is myth doing this? Why can't the guide change over to the same tuner as
the remote does when you just enter in the channel number and press ok?

-Any ideas?
-Thanks
-Steve
