Can you fully document all the settings that you used including both
the alsa.conf contents and your myth audio settings?  Also, can you
include what you get when you do "aplay -l"?

There are two others on this list with HDMI trying to get it to work.
I also want to add  your setup to a list document I am writing on myth
digital sound.
