Smoothwall provides a timeserver (based on openntpd I believe) and one
of the options you configure when you set it up is how often you want it
to update. It is 1hr, 2hr, 3hr, 6hr, 12hr, 1day, 2day, 3 day intervals.
Here is a screenshot so you know what I am looking at:

And I guess it is set to every 6 hours. ;-)
Anyway, the problem isn't with my timeserver as it and the other systems
on the network keep great time. It is something to do with 64bit, I just
don't know what yet.
