I ran into this just last week, building a new system. I believe your
problem is your nvidia drivers.

LiveCD doesn't use them I don't think, but the installer does. However,
the spin downloaded from MythDora.com is way old (like.. january or
something) and contains old nvidia drivers.

I have a 9400M card built in - MythDora didn't work out of the box. So I
ssh'd to my box (no desktop, just text) and did a :

yum update nvidia-[stuff]. I forget the exact details, but if you :

yum list available | grep -i nvidia

There's a bunch out there which will have a higher number than what you
currently have installed. Update them, reboot and Bob should be your
uncle.

Ideally mythdora would spin a new DVD with the newer drivers in, but
they're notoriously absent in creating updated ISO's.
