[mythtv-users] Another thought on nVidia overscan

As others have found, and as is discussed ad nauseum here, nVidia cards
are prone to pretty bad overscan.

Maybe it's bad enough to be good.

Because of the bad overscan, I moved my resolution from a "natural"
640x480 to an oversized 800x600, figuring that it's better to scale the
stuff up than to scale it down. But the overscan is SO bad that with
the 800x600 screen I've got 694x530 left. I sized up an xterm to fill
the visible screen and then used xwininfo against it. Sacrifice 54x50
pixels and I get 640x480 visible in a badly overscanned 800x600 screen.

Is it possible to go into Myth and nail the "screen wizard" down to
specific sizes, so I can make it exactly match the desired resolution?
