sudo tcpdump host 239.255.255.250 -i eth1

With twonkey stopped it gave me (not working)

With twonkey started it gave me :
 sudo tcpdump host 239.255.255.250 -i eth1

22:49:16.378315 IP gateway.1900 > 239.255.255.250.1900: UDP, length 359

And worked instantly.

ip route says :
172.17.14.0/24 dev eth1 proto kernel scope link src 172.17.14.1
86.48.57.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 86.48.57.56
169.254.0.0/16 dev eth1 scope link metric 1000
default via 86.48.57.1 dev eth0 metric 100

i'm quite puzzled by this.
