[mythtv-users] LIRC keeps flooding dmesg with junk, is there anyway to stop this?

I have a new build with a new usb remote using the mceusb2 module. For
some reason, I keep getting flooded with information in dmesg letting me
know there is data recieved.

I have googled and haven't found a solution to turn off this verbosity yet,
so I turn to the list.

Currently, I'm using the vanilla kernel 2.6.30 on Gentoo, lirc-0.8.4
compiled with lirc_devices_mceusb2 set.

Below is an example of the flood of information I would like to stop:

lirc_mceusb2[3]: data received 81 5f 80 (length=3)
lirc_mceusb2[3]: data received 81 82 (length=2)
lirc_mceusb2[3]: data received 81 7f (length=2)
