[mythtv-users] mythdvd rip in background

Hello all,

I started playing with MythDVD tonight and thought I would rip a DVD to my
library. I stuck the dvd in and went throught and kicked the process off,
and then exited back to watch something only to discover that it stops the
rip.

Can mythdvd rip a movie in the background or do you have to just sit and
wait for it to finish before doing something else?

The wiki manual makes no mention of this.
