If you're referring to Peter Familari's article in the Hun
(http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25192280-11869,00.html)
I read Robin Parkes' quotes as meaning the change to MPEG-4 as being
further into the future than this year's Freeview launch.

My understanding was that only the (encrypted?) MHEG EPG would be
unavailable to existing TV's (and by implication, DVB-T tuners).
