No he's not-- anyone who tells you --enable-libx264 is a valid myth
configure option is confused.  Myth does not now, nor has it ever used
libx264.  There is a commented-out-section of myth's configure with
the text for this option, but this section of the configure is
imported from ffmpeg's configure, and *not* part of Myth's.  I end up
saying this about twice a month right now-- The *only* thing using
--enable-libx264 in myth can do for you is break your compile.  *No
part* of myth uses libx264.
