Redhat was the best when I started using it but that was years ago. I
still use Fedora (just upgraded from 9 to 10). Just too lazy to first do
the research and then hassle with switching.

There used to be lots of problems staying on the bleeding edge of some
apps (being forced to compile from CVS or add other repositories that we
always incompatible in some way. Today though, I use the built in redhat
repos and atrpms-bleeding and I have perfect compatibility and myth at
0.22 with vdpau and the latest nvidia drivers and no compiling. And it
works!! Sweet...
