that NFSv4 requires special user space programs from nfs-utiils. I'd imagine they're referring to mount.nfs4 which is apparently required for mounting nfs4. If for whatever reason the kernel has NFSv4 support and no NFSv3 support, your nfsvers=3D3 would probably default to NSFv2 I'd think. Tom
