[mythtv-users] Assign driver to USB device

Hi,

I have a ATI Remote Wonder, that I used with the lirc_atiusb driver on
Fedora 6.
Now I have upgraded to Fedora 10 and first I renamed the ati_remote.ko
module and tried to install the lirc driver.
Then I found out that the lirc driver for the ATI is no longer in Fedora 10,
so I had to go back to the ati_remote.ko driver.
I renamed the module back to ati_remote.ko, rebooted, but the driver does
not start.
Before I got the following in /var/log/messages:

Apr 26 20:44:24 localhost kernel: input: X10 Wireless Technology Inc USB
Receiver as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:10.0/usb2/2-2/input/in
Apr 26 20:44:24 localhost kernel: ati_remote: Weird data, len=1 ff 00 00 00
00 00 ...
Apr 26 20:44:24 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new interface driver
ati_remote
Apr 26 20:44:24 localhost kernel: ati_remote: Registered USB driver ATI/X10
RF USB Remote Control v. 2.2.1

Now I get the following:

May 2 00:17:13 localhost kernel: usb 2-2: Manufacturer: X10 Wireless
Technology Inc
May 2 00:17:13 localhost kernel: usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 2
May 2 00:17:13 localhost kernel: usb usb4: New USB device found,
idVendor=1d6b, idProduct=0001
May 2 00:17:13 localhost kernel: usb usb4: New USB device strings: Mfr=3,
Product=2, SerialNumber=1

How do I assign the USB device to activate the ati_remote.ko driver again?
Does the kernel have some kind of table somewhere?

Best regards
Niels Dybdahl
