Probably a lack of testing with non HD-PVR capture devices.

I have two HD-PVRs and two HDhomeruns which work perfectly with that  
patch applied.  However, I do not have any DVB, pvrusb, pvr-x50, etc  
capture devices.  If people with other capture devices would try that  
patch and report that it does not cause any problems, the patch would  
probably get committed.
