[mythtv-users] Video Jerky on a Epic Via Sp8000 board

Hi

I was wondering if anyone has already fixed this problem.
I have a Epic Via SP8000 (uses the unichrome pro video chipset) as a frontend running under fedora 10. I have configured the playback to use 'via-xvmc'.
When I boot the system and play a SD (720x576) recording it is very jerky.

However, I have found that if I exit mythfrontend, close down kde (using 'init 3') and then restart kde (using 'init 5') it will work fine.

I don't believe this is a myth problem but more about the fc10 bootup order.

All advise on this problem is welcomed.
