[mythtv-users] can't get MythTV to tune channels

Hi

I have a PC with Ubuntu 8.10 running MythTV .21. I've bought a HD 
Homerun, set it up on my network updated it's hardware using a Windows 
PC & can use the HD Homerun with XBMC & the HD Homerun software on 
windows boxes on my network.

I've followed the instructions at

If I use hdhomerun_config discover, the MythTV box successfully finds 
the HD Homerun. I've attempted to set the HD Homerun in MythTV & can't 
get it to scan for channels. I think the problem is when I'm in "Connect 
Source To Input" pages. I can not set a starting channel number. I've 
tried using numeric keys & arrow keys without success.

When I send it off to scan for channels, scanning does not happen & in 
the terminal window that open up underneath the MythTV setup, there are 
multiple error messages in format of "DateTime HDHR Chan (ffffffff/0) 
Error Device Set (/tuner0/channel8 vsb:599000000):Error Invalid Channel.

When I go to exit out of MythTV, I get an error message saying that the 
Starting channel is invalid.

Can anyone advise me what to do or where I went wrong?
