Hi All, I just did an upgrade to .21 on Fedora 10, and after the dust has settled, the two issues I have not been able to solve are my IRblaster and Watching LiveTV.

The lirc_serial module loads fine, and results in a new /dev/lircd, but sending irsend commands never changes the channel. I looked at the serial port to make sure it was not being used by something else, but I would think that when lirc_serial loads, if the serial port is locked, lirc_serial won't load, but that is just an assumption - so any advice appreciated on how to tell if the hardware is bad??

For LiveTV, when I select it, it you see a few seconds of black, then back to menu. It the logs I see:

2009-05-24 17:41:07.986 adding: myhostname as a client (events: 0)

2009-05-24 17:41:08.018 TVRec(1): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV

2009-05-24 17:41:08.032 TVRec(1): HW Tuner: 1->1

2009-05-24 17:41:15.741 ret_pid(0) child(3107) status(0x0)

2009-05-24 17:41:16.743 ret_pid(3107) child(3107) status(0x0)

2009-05-24 17:41:16.749 External Tuning program exited with no error

2009-05-24 17:41:18.366 TVRec(1): Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None

If I schedule a recording, then click on WatchLiveTV, it get the message that the tuner is recording, and I can watch it as it records along. Overall recorded shows work fine ...

Any thoughts appreciated.. J

P.S. Anyone know if Mythdora as a distribution is dead? Their site has been down for several days.

Edward
