I wondered about that too, especially as the ION  graphics need to grab some 
RAM from the main store, so I figured if I go this route I'll bump it up to 2 
GB.

If the graphics need at least 512MB, which is what I have heard VDPAU needs, 
that doesn't leave much for the OS and DB.
