Previously, I don't remember having seen this on 0.21fixes, so I thought
this was something new which is why I was trying so hard to get to the
bottom of it and to supply you guys and the devs with information. I now
understand that this is the way it has always been, and was intended to be
for this release.
I'd also previously read http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/7525 but must
have got confused with the noise because I discounted it as relating to the
other issues being discussed in this thread, however I now see how this is
connected.
I now understand this much better, and understand that the devs have it
under control - who knows, when my skills increase, I may even be able to
have a stab myself. :-)
