I stand corrected...  In my previous response, I said, "Yes--for users 
who have a ton of video files in MythVideo."  It seems I should have 
said, "Yes--for users who have a ton of files (including a backup of 
your entire root filesystem) in MythVideo."

I think you've also found your memory leak, too.  :)
