Ya, setting it to 512M did it. Not only that, but I can play
live TV too (which I mentioned a week or so ago) so a double
"thanks a million."

Just wondering out loud: I've been googling vdpau myth and zotac
for months now. It seemed as though noone else in the world was
having my problems. Nowhere could I find where it was documented
that I needed to reserve the memory.

Oh well, hopefully now others will find these posts.
