I have a newly installed system corei7 nvdia geforce 240 gts on ubuntu
9.10 (mythbuntu, mythtv 0.22)

The SPDIF sound works fine with the system sound. either on the optical
or the HDMI output.
When I try to play a recording in mythfrontend ( I set the mythtv output
to either hdmi passthrough or alsa:iec958 passthrough) there is no sound.

I get the following error in mythtv.
