I'd recommend the Nova-TD, I've had it for ages now and had no problems
with it. The signal strength might be too high which causes prober for
it (due to the internal amplifier), but that's easily solved by using a
cheap (£3 from B+Q) V-splitter to half the signal strength and feed the
two inputs.

For remote, I bought a load of USB Cyberlink remotes from eBuyer at
£4.99 each. They present as a keyboard so don't need any lirc setup,
just use xmodmap in your .xsessionrc to map the keys of whichever MythTV
function you want.

Currently have 4 REVOs (2 single core, 2 dual core) setup with these
remotes and mounted on the back of TVs/monitors around the house.

I run the Nova-TD along with a bunch of Nova-T's and a PVR-250 (for Sky)
on a separate backend, and use the REVOs purely as frontend systems for
MythTV and also login points for use with RF wireless keyboards.

Cheers
Gordon
