[mythtv-users] Showing popups/alerts in frontend?

Hi,

I would like to show (in mythfrontend) a popup/alert or question dialog.

Is there a way to show something like that in mythfronend? I know that
there is a mythtvosd which can only be used when watcing recordings,
but not in menus.

I could show info with xosd but I would like to make its appearance
more "mythable". And I cannot show a question (yes|no) dialog with
xosd.
