Interesting. I used mvpmc on an old MediaMVP, worked well but of course it was 
limited to SD.

There are other "Networked Media Tanks" besides PCH, like the Myka. I have one 
of those and since it runs a more or less standard Linux distro from a hard 
drive (not from flash) it would seem to be a better candidate for hacking 
into a frontend.

I can play Myth content by using the NFS client in Myka, it's set up to auto 
discover any nfs or samba shares on your network.

Of course a full frontend would be nicer, a complete HD Myth frontend with 
hardware video decoding for $200 would be very nice indeed.

I guess I'll get the Myka SDK and see what I can do, if I get some spare time.
