[mythtv-users] Nova TD Stick USB dual tuner, cannot tune same channel with both tuners

Hello,

I have a Hauppauge nova DT which I have been using succesfully with
SageTV so I don't believe it's hardware related.

In myth I have multirec off so only have two input devices.

My problem is as follows:

I can tune all channels fine on either tuner.  Say if I want to watch
TV2 I can watch on one tuner, switch tuner and watch successfully on
the other.  However for many channels I have this issue:  if recording
a channel on one tuner, when I tune to the same transponder on the
other device I initially get a lot of artifacts, a high BE rate and
eventually myth locks up.

The device is identified as follows with lsusb:

and dmesg | grep -i dvb gives me this :

I've compiled and installed the lated v4l-dvb code and have firmware
located at /lib/firmware/dvb-usb-dib0700-1.10.fw
/lib/firmware/dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw  but the dmesg output suggests
it that the firmware is not being picked up.

Any help much appreciated.
