On my 3 computers, I always have a file called System Information.txt
(mainly because I don't run all of them the same way). So for instance the
mythtv box has:
modules to run with m-a: nvidia-kernel-source lirc-modules-source
Sure as you say it is an extra step. But is really hardly a bother. And to
be honest it was worth it for VDPAU.
