Er, I went ahead with the packages and trunk as I wanted to compile with
vdpau and wasn't sure if RPM means would allow this, any how it went okay up
to make install, but now this per the wiki:
$ cd contrib
# chmod a+x etc.rc.d.init.d.mythbackend
I do that and I get no such file or dir error. Searching for mythbackend in
the contrib folder I get:
┌─[ 22:02 ][ ~/installs/mythtv-trunk/mythtv/contrib ]
└─> find -iname "*mythbackend*"
./Linux/init_scripts/slackware.init.mythbackend
./Linux/init_scripts/lsb.init.mythbackend
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/prop-base/fedora.sysconfig.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/prop-base/fedora.init.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/prop-base/slackware.init.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/prop-base/lsb.init.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/text-base/fedora.sysconfig.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/text-base/fedora.init.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/text-base/slackware.init.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/.svn/text-base/lsb.init.mythbackend.svn-base
./Linux/init_scripts/fedora.init.mythbackend
./Linux/init_scripts/fedora.sysconfig.mythbackend
./config_files/etc.logrotate.d.mythbackend
./config_files/.svn/text-base/etc.logrotate.d.mythbackend.svn-base
Not sure which one to chmod and move out to the /etc/rc.d ??
Thanks
Bob
