Hi Dave,

Embarrassingly, one thing I didn't put in my post is that I didn't
realize at the time that the Atom was x86_64 compatible, and I installed
a 32-bit distribution. So, the binaries I build for my AMD64 back-end
don't work on my ION. Thus I complicated things for myself, and that's
why I'm doing the front-end build on the ION itself.

I'll re-install the OS on the front-end once ubuntu/mythbuntu 9.10 ship.

(BTW, for those installing an a USB stick.... pay particular attention
to the summary at the end and make sure it says that it's going to
install the grub boot loader to the stick. I booted a laptop from a
Live CD, and did all the configuration/installation to the USB stick....
but failed to notice that the installer defaulted the grub install to
the laptops hard drive.... rewriting the boot loader for my Windows
laptop. That led to some nail-biting and some pretty advanced magic to
get the laptop working again without having to re-install Windows.)

Phil
