[mythtv-users] Hauppauge PVR 350 and LIRC setting up SOLVED! Well not yet...

Check that the output you get from irw is exactly what is listed In  
lircd.conf and that the button names are exactly the same in  
lircd.conf and lircrc. You can think of these as stacked 'case'  
switches and everything has to match perfectly. If irw works, and  
those files are correct, then it is likely the lirc socket (not the  
lircd: that one works. We know cause irw gives output).
Alternate choices to /dev/lirc are /dev/lirc0 and the standard /bar/ 
run/lirc/lirc.
