More specific VB settings from the VB control window:

Base memory 512MB
Video Memory 12MB
Enable 3d not checked
10GB Hard Disk
VBoxGuestAdditions.iso
ALSA Audio Driver

How much memory should I allocate?

I still cannot find where to set the screen size.
