Could we possibly stop quoting what an Atom (or anything else for that
matter) will probably be (or not be) able to support unless we've
actually tried it?

I see so many "quotes" about people saying devices won't work, even
though they've never actually tried them. Whether it's generic ATOM
devices, specific devices like the Acer REVO, or VDPAU on these devices;
it's just not helpful.

The people who've actually bought these boxes tell us they work fine (I
know, I'm one of them), so could everyone who's not actually tried it
please lay off saying it won't work?

I understand that if no-one has tried a brand new device, or it's not
out yet, then it's perfectly valid for us all to speculate, offer
suggestions, or opinions on whether or not something should or shouldn't
work, however in the face of so many people actually having bought the
kit in question, I don't understand why some folks still insist on
saying it shouldn't work.

Just my 2p.

Cheers
Gordon
