We tend to watch liveTV for news and other events where we are not
interested in waiting. I do still like the ability to pause liveTV to
for example, resettle a baby etc. I can not do this if I am on the TV
inbuilt tuner.

I understand the OP's issue and understanding how Myth works, can live
it with it.

I have three tuners in my system and multirec is set to two for each
tuner so six in total. I do find it an inconvenience on the odd
occasion when I am trying to determine which tuner is free and not
tied to a particular channel. Perhaps adjusting the onscreen menu with
a suffix to each tuner indicating its status could be helpful here (if
it was even worth the effort though).

Cheers

Phil
